about me

I love nature, being in it, painting it, protecting it.  You'll notice most of my paintings and lino prints and drawings are of Australian landscapes, flora and fauna. This is where my passion lies.

I grew up on a farm in Gloucester,  which is located on the mid north coast in NSW at the base of the Bucketts Mountains and the Barrington Tops. It is a beautiful local farming community that is surrounded by lush farmland scenes and natural landscape beauty.

I've always painted, but I am doing it more now that I've retired from teaching, (which I did for over 30 years), and so now I've more time to appreciate the local nature surrounding my hobby farm, and more time to paint it. 

I work in a variety of mediums, including oil on canvas, pencil, pastel, woodcut and lino prints. The paintings I have presented here are all for sale, the lino prints are available framed or unframed and come in limited editions of between 4 and 10 prints.
